Voter education for locals of Kavrepalanchok

KAVRE: Aiming at the upcoming elections, District Election Office Kavrepalanchok is conducting a voter education program.

Election Commissioner Umesh Rai informed that the voter education program started under the supervision of the commission is being conducted effectively.

He said that education was given to the voters by going door-to-door in order to conduct the election in a dignified manner.

Voter education programs were conducted in all places of the district under the leadership of local volunteers. According to the Commission, sample voting has been done in all places of the district and the results are satisfactory.

“The program has not been relatively effective due to the poor educational conditions of the Majhi community voters in the village,” he said.

Tamang says that since people are at work during the afternoon, they are teaching from door to door in the morning and afternoon.
