Main duty of Nepal Police is to hold polls in peaceful manner: PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that Nepal Police has the main responsibility to conduct the election in a peaceful manner.

PM Deuba said so while addressing a ceremony organized to mark the 67th Nepal Police Day at the police headquarters in Naxal, Kathmandu, on Monday.

He instructed that all the organizational units of the police should be made technology friendly for achieving expected results by adopting and adapting to the changes in information technology.

The PM assured of making the police more advanced, professional and better equipped with resources in the days ahead.

He pointed at the need to make timely improvements for the career development of all the employees of Nepal Police.
