Maoist Center holding Standing Committee meeting

To discuss conditions set by Bamdev and Baburam



KATHMANDU: Ruling Maoist Center is holding its Standing Committee meeting this afternoon.

The meeting to be held at the party head office in Parisdanda is likely to discuss the allocation of the electoral seats, contemporary politics, and most importantly, the conditions put forth by National Assembly member Bam Dev Gautam and Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai.

Both Gautam and Dr. Bhattarai are contesting the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives with the election symbol of the Maoist Center party.

Today’s meeting is likely to discuss the issue, a Maoist leader said.

The meeting will also discuss the November 20 elections, among other issues.
