One killed, five injured in Nuwakot accident

NUWAKOT: One person died in a tipper accident last night in Kakani Village-1 Mahalaxmisthan of Nuwakot. Five people were injured in the accident.

The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Basanti Balami of Kakani Village-1 who was riding in a tipper.

Police said Balami died on the spot.

All those injured in the accident have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment.

The tipper number — Ba 4 B 3728 — coming to Kathmandu with vegetables from Mahalakshmishan, fell about 20 meters from the road.

The driver is absconding.
