Nepali Congress expresses grief over Prem Bahadur Deuba’s demise



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed sorrow over the demise of Prem Bahadur Deuba.

He is the younger brother of Prime Minister and party president Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Dedicated to community work, Prem Bahadur Deuba died while under treatment in Kathmandu last night. He was 67.

Issuing a condolence message on behalf the party Tuesday, Chief Secretary at the NC Central Office Krishna Prasad Poudel expressed grief over Deuba’s demise.

The party has expressed heartfelt tributes to him and also extended condolences to the grief-stricken family.

The late Prem Bahadur Deuba is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
