Dadeldhura result: NC wins 4, Maoist Center 2, Counting underway in 1



DADELDHURA: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s home district Dadeldhura has come out with promising results for NC and CPN-Maoist Center.

Out of the seven local levels of Dadeldhura, the results of six municipalities have been made public. According to the Election Office, the NC has won four and the Maoist Center two.

Nepali Congress has won the post of mayor and deputy mayor of 10 wards of Amargadhi municipality, Bhageshwor rural municipality, Ganyapadhura rural municipality and Navdurga rural municipality so far.

Similarly, Maoist Center has cashed victory in Ajayameru and Aalital municipality of the district.

Counting is underway in Amargadhi municipality.

Interestingly, despite forming an alliance with Nepali Congress BP, the CPN-UML has failed to show its strong presence in the district.

Nepali Congress BP defeated NC candidate in Prime Minister Deuba’s Ward.
