NC wins in Bahrabise municipality



BAHRABISE: Bal Krishna Basnet of the Nepali Congress has won the election to the post of mayor of Bahrabise municipality.

Basnet secured 7,728 votes while his closest rival Nimphunjo Sherpa of the CPN (UML) secured 5,433 votes.

Similarly, NC’s Manju Tamang has been elected to the post of deputy-mayor receiving 6,977 votes.

Her nearest contender Sushila Pakhrin of the CPN (UML) gathered 5,990 votes.
