Maoist Center’s Renu Dahal takes lead in Bharatpur Metropolis

Renu: 5, 718, Subedi: 5,688



CHITWAN: Renu Dahal, the candidate of the ruling coalition for the post of mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, has taken the lead.

Out of 17, 034 votes counted so far, Renu got 5, 718 votes.

Similarly, CPN-UML candidate Bijay Subedi got 5,688 votes. He is 30 votes behind Renu Dahal.

Independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has got 2,788 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari of Nepali Congress is leading in the post of deputy mayor with 6,982 votes.
Himala Gurung of RPP got 4,628 votes.

Arpan Pokhrel of the Nepali Congress (NC) won the election with 2,499 votes in ward no. 4 by defeating CPN-UML candidate Bhanubhakta Sapkota.
