Minor singer changes her statement in the case against Paul Shah

KATHMANDU: Giving an uneven twist to the incident, the minor singer has changed her statement in the case related to rape accused actor Paul Shah.

Contrary to the statement she had made while filing the case, the minor girl said, on Sunday, the details mentioned in the complaint were not true.

She changed the statement while giving statement in the district court in Tanahu today.

She claimed that Paul did not rape her, that she had filed a complaint at the instigation and that the statement that the police had submitted to the court was not hers.

Earlier, she had given statements at the District Police Offices in Tanahu and Nawalpur that Paul had raped her.

According to sources present in the court at the time of the minor’s bail bond, she is seen to be 100% hostile.

Meanwhile, it is suspected that Paul’s family influenced the singer’s family to change her statement.

There is a legal provision of imprisonment for six years in case of change of statement.
