NC’s responsibility to keep ruling coalition intact: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has emphasized the need for all party leaders to be responsible to keep the coalition intact.

PM Deuba said that it was the responsibility of the Nepali Congress to bring the ruling alliance together in the upcoming local elections.

“Since the ruling coalition is led by Nepali Congress, it is our responsibility to forge an electoral alliance in the local elections,” he said.

The party on Saturday discussed in detail the modality for the electoral alliance among the five ruling political parties.

Nepali Congress is holding a meeting today as well, according to party leader Mahalakshmi Upadhyaya.
