Teenage girl injured after falling from second and a half floor house while playing Holi in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: A teenage girl has been seriously injured after she fell from a two-and-a-half-storey house while playing Holi in Bouddha, Kathmandu, on Thursday.

Binita Chaulagain, a resident of Sindhupalchowk, was seriously injured when she fell from a 2.5 storey house at Dakshindhoka of Bouddha, said Superintendent of Police Dinesh Raj Mainali of Kathmandu Police Complex, Teku.

According to him, Chaulagain, who is a student of Class XI, and her brother were renting an apartment in Bouddha. They had gone to her relatives to play Holi on Thursday.

“After she fell on iron bars after falling from the house, she was rushed to Nepal Medical College, Jorpati,” said Mainali.

Treatment of the injured is underway, said police.
