Regressive forces will be tested in election: Unified Socialist Chair Nepal



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Unified Socialist, Madhav Kumar Nepal has said people will be assessing the regressive forces in upcoming elections.

Speaking at a reception organised by the party on the occasion of the Holi festival, the former Prime Minister was confident that the parties contributing to the promotion of democracy and constitution would be rewarded by the people in the upcoming local level elections slated for May 13.

“Regressive and arrogant people will be tested through the elections and will face a defeat as in the Holi festival symbolising the victory of good over evil.”

He was of the view that festivals of Nepal have a significant role in further uniting the Nepalese society characterized by goodwill and harmony.
