Mets ask people to take precaution to avoid possible effects of heat



KATHMANDU: The weather across the country remained partly to generally cloudy due low-pressure system developed in Bihar of India and its surrounding areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather in the hilly areas of the country has been partly cloudy due to this system while the rest of the places is clear.

The Division has also requested the people to take precautions to avoid the possible effects of heat as mercury is rising across the nation.

According to the latest details of the Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 13.6 degree Celsius and maximum temperature at 29.5 degree Celsius.

The lowest temperature has been recorded at 4.6 degree Celsius in Jumla and the highest temperature at 33 degree Celsius in Bhairahawa today.
