NC conventions in 16 districts postponed by two days



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has postponed the date for holding conventions in 16 districts by two days. Now, the district conventions will be held on February 27 against the earlier date set for February 25.

Party Secretary Keshav Rijal, issuing a statement Thursday, informed that the convention slated for February 25 was postponed by two days.

The NC is yet to hold its conventions in Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchok, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Nawalpur, Banke, Achham and Kailali districts.

The 14th general convention of the party was concluded recently and conventions in 16 districts had not taken place.
