Two pedestrians killed in Balaju road mishap



KATHMANDU: Two pedestrians have died after being hit by a mini bus at Balaju in Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

Critically injured pedestrians died while being rushed to hospital, said the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.

According to spokesperson of the Division, Sanjeep Sharma Das, 18-year-old Bikash Tamang and a woman, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, were killed in a hit-and-run accident that occurred in front of Ganga Cinema Hall.

The mini bus involved in the accident is at large. Police said they are searching the bus and investigating the case.
