Chitwan-1 candidate Umesh Shrestha’s car vandalized during election canvassing



BHARATPUR: The vehicle of Umesh Shrestha, the candidate for the member of the House of Representatives of Nepali Congress from Chitwan Constituency-1, was vandalized during election canvassing.

An unknown group vandalized Shrestha’s Prado car with number Ba 3 Ch 2050 while he was busy in his door-to-door campaign in Chitwan on Wednesday morning.

According to the police, a group of six people attacked Shrestha’s car.

According to the police, the attackers came on three bikes.

In Chitwan-1, Rabi Lamichhane from Rastriya Swatantra Party, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel from CPN-UML and Rabin Adhikari from RPP are contesting the election to the House of Representatives.

Recently, Lamichhane’s vehicle used for election canvassing was also vandalized by a group of people in Chitwan.
