KATHMANDU: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has accused CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of getting into the leadership by cheating.
Addressing an election training session organized here by the left democratic alliance, Kathmandu constituency 2, on Sunday, he said, “If CPN-UML was led by Oli during the peace agreement between the Maoists and the then government, federal democracy would not have come to the country and the 12-point agreement with the Maoists would not have been signed.”
He claimed that the main agenda of the country in the future will be development, construction and prosperity.
He insisted that political change cannot be sustained if the campaign of economic revolution cannot be carried forward in a uniform manner.
Prachanda claimed that if the campaign of economic revolution cannot be carried forward in a unified manner, stability will not come and the country will fall into the abyss of despotism and anarchy.
He urged the voters to provide an opportunity for continuous progress in favor of the nation and the people by ensuring win of the candidates of the alliance from Kathmandu constituency 2 in the upcoming elections.
Acknowledging there might be bias and prejudice regarding the election symbols in the elections, he called for voting for the coalition candidates without any confusion.
Stating that the Nepali Congress and the CPN (Maoist Center) have since long have been united, Prachanda pledged to appoint a development minister from Kathmandu constituency 2.
