Dengue patients can avail free ambulance service by calling 102: Mayor Balen



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), has said that dengue patients can call 102 and get ambulance services if needed.

The metropolis is providing free ambulance service to Kathmanduites.

According to Mayor Shah, anyone having dengue also can call 1180 and consult with health workers.

Mayor Shah has also urged the metropolis to be active in the prevention and control of dengue on a toll-toll basis or as a community.

He also said that since dengue has spread in the community, there is a need for awareness and action to prevent and control it.

He said that the metropolis will expand more programs and use resources and manpower to prevent dengue.

The number of dengue patients in hospitals has increased significantly lately.
