NC registers with EC for Nov 20 elections



KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has registered its party at the Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday for the upcoming general election.

The elections are scheduled to be held on November 20 later this year.

Another ruling partner, Maoist Center registered the party on Monday itself.

Similarly, the main opposition CPN-UML has already registered with the EC.

The EC began registering parties for the elections on August 7.

The EC had asked political parties, contesting the elections, to get registered by August 16.
