Two killed in accident



KATHMANDU: Two people were killed in a collision between a trailer carrying marble and a jeep at Chiraundi bridge along the Prithvi highway at Galchhi rural municipality-6 of Dhading district.

The trailer bearing Indian registration plate number hit a jeep with registration number plate -Bagmati Province-01-025 Cha 7872.

The trailer was going towards Kathmandu from Chitwan, said Inspector Ramesh Thapa of the District Police Office Dhading.

Police identified the dead as 30-year-old Gyan Bahadur Nepali and 25-year-old Rajendra Tamang of Jwalamukhi rural municipality-1, Dhading.

The driver and helper, who were also injured in the accident, are in police custody after undergoing medical treatment.
