Meeting of ruling alliance underway at Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the five-party ruling alliance is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” reached Baluwatar soon after the meeting of the party’s Standing Committee held at Parisdanda this morning.

The meeting is discussing the allocation of electoral seats for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and State Assembly.

The meeting of the task force formed to allocate the electoral seats among the five parties of the ruling coalition has given the responsibility to Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula.

The top leaders of the ruling alliance have said that the decision on the allocation of electoral seats will be made based on the suggestions given by the task force.

Meanwhile, the Nepali Congress, CPN Unified Socialist, and other parties are registering parties at the Election Commission today.
