Nepal sees 205 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 205 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 152 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 53 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,090 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,199 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,891 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 1,385 active cases in the country as 51 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country remains constant at 11,952 to date.
