Cabinet decisions: Joshi appointed chair of Taragaon Development Committee



KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Suresh Joshi of Dadeldhura as the chair of the Taragaon Development Committee.

The Committee is a government body under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Joshi was appointed to the post by the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday.

Minister of Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed about Joshi’s appointment on Thursday while disclosing decisions of the cabinet.

Talking about the decision of the Cabinet, the Communication Minister said that the work of retrofitting and reconstructing the private residents will be continued till mid-July.

The Cabinet meeting also decided to approve labor agreement between Nepal and the UK.

The government has also decided to receive Rs. 366 million of grants from the government of Japan for the developing human resources in Nepal.
