UML’s deputy mayoral candidate Dangol gets 6,557 votes out of 17,808 votes counted so far



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s Sunita Dangol has got 6557 votes for the post of Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu.

According to the Election Commission, she has 6557 votes out of the 17,808 votes counted so far.

Her nearest rival Rameshwar Shrestha of the Unified Socialist got 1,855 votes.

Meanwhile, Balen Shah has maintained the lead in the mayoral race.

As of now, he has received 7,771 votes.

Similarly, Keshav Sthapit of UML has got 4,113 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh has got 3,573 votes.

Counting of votes of wards 3, 4, 5, 6, 31 and 32 is underway.
