Indian PM Modi returns home



LUMBINI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived Lumbini this morning in connection with an official visit to Nepal, returned home this afternoon on a special helicopter of the Indian Air Force.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba bade farewell to the Indian Prime Minister at the helipad constructed near the International Buddhist Prayer Centre and Auditorium here in Lumbini.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka, among others saw off Indian Prime Minister Modi.

PM Modi had arrived here this morning, leading an 11-member delegation.
