Nepal sees seven new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, six were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,785 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,546 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1239 through the Antigen method.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.

Currently, there are 139 active cases in the country as nine infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
