Rajababu becomes municipal chair at 22



Kathmandu: Rajababu Yadav, 22, has been elected as the chairman of Ramnagar rural municipality of Sarlahi district.

CPN-Maoist Center candidate Rajababu, who won the post by getting 4081 votes defeated the nearest rival from Nepali Congress Hari Nandan Prasad Yadav with a wide difference. The NC candidate got 2392 votes only.

Rajababu, a candidate elected to lead the municipality at the college-going age, managed to get the ticket from Maoist Center due to his father’s political legacy. Rajababu’s father Shivaji Yadav is a former lawmaker.
