Neck and neck race in Bharatpur metropolis

Maoist Center's Renu: 3,578; UML's Subedi: 3,575



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Renu Dahal has surpassed UML candidate Bijaya Subedi by three votes.

Renu has got 3,578 votes while Subedi has got 3,575 votes. Nepali Congress rebel candidate Jagannath Poudel got 1,360 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari of the NC, who is contesting for the post of deputy mayor,  is taking the lead in the ongoing vote count.

Adhikari got 4,043 votes while Himal Gurung of RPP got 2,816 votes.

UML’s Bikash Thapa is leading in Bharatpur-3. He got 1,076 votes while NC’ Bharat Lamichhane got 690 votes.
