Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah leading with 5,400 votes in KMC



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, an independent mayoral candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, is leading the vote count with 5,400 votes.

CPN-UML’s mayoral candidate Keshav Sthapit is chasing Shah with 2,500 votes.

Similarly, Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress, who represents the ruling alliance, has received 2,515 votes.
