Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah leading with over 5,214 votes in KMC



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, an independent mayoral candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, is leading the vote count with 5,214 votes.

CPN-UML’s mayoral candidate Keshav Sthapit is chasing Shah with 2,832 votes.

Similarly, Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress, who represents the ruling alliance, has received 2,470 votes.

Similarly, UML deputy mayoral candidate Sunita Dangol has secured over 3,317 votes while Rameshwar Shrestha of the CPN-Unified Socialist is following her with 962 votes.
