Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah leading with over 4,905 votes in KMC



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, an independent mayoral candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, is leading the vote count with 4,905 votes.

CPN-UML’s mayoral candidate Keshav Sthapit is chasing Shah with 2,614 votes.

Similarly, Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress, who represents ruling alliance, has received 2,315 votes.

Similarly, UML deputy mayoral candidate Sunita Dangol has secured over 3,317 votes while Rameshwar Shrestha of the CPN-Unified Socialist is following her with 962 votes.
