Makawanpur police nabs teachers accused of sexual misconduct



HETAUDA: Makawanpur police has arrested two teachers accused of sexually abusing a female student.

Three teachers of Janata Secondary School, Shantipur,  Makawanpur were accused of sexual harassment.

According to Makawanpur Police, two of the accused were taken into custody on Friday where as one had already shown himself before the police before.

The accused teachers Lok Bahadur BK and Rudra Bahadur BK have been brought to the District Police Office, Hetauda last night. Another teacher accused of the misconduct Hem Bahadur BK had surrendered to police on April 8.

Further investigation is underway, the police said.

Earlier, the students had lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the teachers had abused students and the locals were trying to settle the issue without furthering it to police.
