Woman found dead in forest in Mahottari



MAHOTTARI: A woman has been found dead in a forest at Manarasiswa Municipality-3 in Mahottari district on Friday night.
According to District Police Office, Mahottari, Jishavidevi Shah’s dead body was spotted inside the forest by her family.

Jishavidevi, a native of Samsi rural municipality in the district, had gone out to cut grass around 5 pm on Friday and did not return home till night.

Wife of Sogarath Shah, Jishadevi, was found dead during a search launched by her family. The police team that reached the accident site at night itself found that there was no injury in the dead body, said DSP Prakash Bista.

Locals and relatives of the deceased assumed that the death could have occurred due to snake bite or blood pressure related issues.
Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
