Nepal sees 82 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 16 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 82 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Of the confirmed cases today, 41 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 41 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as there has been no coronavirus-related death in the past four days. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,950 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed 16 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with 15 cases in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur district.

Currently, there are 4,574 active cases in the country as 213 infected patients recovered.
