Demonstrations held in support of MCC in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Independent Civil Society has staged a demonstration in support of the US aid agency Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Members of the Society gathered in Anamnagar on motorcycles and demonstrated in support of MCC carrying placards that read “Welcome MCC”.

The Society organized the rally in Kathmandu at a time when the government is preparing to table the MCC today.

They also held a motorcycle rally in the capital.
