UML not to attend Business Advisory Committee meeting



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided not to participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Business Advisory Committee.

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has called a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee at 11:30 am to decide the agenda of today’s parliament session to be held at 1 pm on Wednesday.

UML lawmaker Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel, a member of the Business Advisory Committee, has informed that UML will not participate in the meeting convened by Speaker Sapkota.

UML has said that it will obstruct the parliament on Wednesday as before.

The government is preparing to table the MCC Compact in today’s parliament meeting for discussion.

UML has been boycotting the all-party meeting convened by Speaker Sapkota.
