BIRGUNJ: Journalists Pratap Shrestha and Tulasi Bhandari have bagged the ‘Gopal Giri Active Journalism Award’, 2077 and 2078 BS respectively.
Established by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Parsa, the award carries a purse of Rs 25,000.
Birgunj Metropolis mayor Bijaya Kumar Sarawagi handed the award and certificates to Shrestha and Bhandari.
Shrestha is editor of Pratik Daily and Bhandari is affiliated with Rajdhani Daily.
