KATHMANDU: Actress Karisma Manandhar has appealed people to vote for actress Rekha Thapa.
Rekha, who is Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate from Morang-3, has become popular lately.
Advocating for the need to get Rekha in the parliament, Actress Karisma, through her social media, requested the voters of Morange -3 to get Rekha elected.
‘Artists are an integral part of the nation. She (Rekha Thapa) is the exponent of culture and tradition. Many artists have invested a lot of struggle and effort to build and develop this area. It has become a multi-million investment area. Now our step is to take our point to the main level of the state. ‘
Mentioning Rekha as warrior, Karishma requested the voters to favor her (Thapa) this itme.
Although Karishma joined CPN-UML, she requested the voters to elect the artist to ‘strengthen film industry’.
Like Karishma, other actors in the film industry are also asking for votes for Rekha.
