Footpath traders picket Kathmandu Metropolis office



KATHMANDU: Footpath traders have picketed the Kathmandu Metropolitan City office demanding that they be allowed to do business on the footpath.

They gheraod the metropolis demanding the authorities that they be allowed to do business during the festival season.

They picketed the metropolis by protesting that the Kathmandu metropolis has them from the footpath without giving them an alternative.

The footpath traders alleged the metropolis for trying to displace those doing business on the footpath for livelihood rather than managing them.
