NRB selling treasury bills worth 13 billion rupees today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is selling treasury bills worth 13 billion rupees on Monday.

The bank is going to negotiate a total treasury bill of 13 billion rupees with a 28-day period of 5 billion rupees, 2 billion rupees for a 91-day period, and 6 billion rupees for a 182-day period.

According to NRB, the 28-day treasury will mature on September 13.

Likewise, the 91-day treasury will mature on November 15 and the 182-day treasury will mature on February 14, 2023.

Earlier, Rastra Bank had sold 91-day treasury bills worth 7.1 billion rupees.

Rastra Bank has informed that the bond auction will be open online on Monday at 3 pm.

The NRB will issue treasury bills on Tuesday to those who bid the most, including A, B and C category banks, other financial institutions, non-banks and financial institutions.
