KATHMANDU: Deposits of commercial banks have increased by Rs. 23 billion since June.
According to data released by the Nepal Bankers Association (NBA), deposits of commercial banks have increased by Rs 23 billion since June.
As of mid-April, the total deposits of commercial banks stood at Rs 4.37 trillion.
According to the NBA, deposits of commercial banks increased by Rs 7 billion in the first week of May, by Rs 6 billion in the second week, by Rs 7 billion in the third week, and by Rs 3 billion in the fourth week.
Similarly, credit investment of commercial banks has increased by only Rs 3 billion since June.
As of mid-April last year, the total credit investment of commercial banks was Rs. 41.91 trillion.
Total credit investment has increased to Rs. 41.94 trillion as of June 10.
The average CD ratio of commercial banks has been 90.22 percent till June 10.
