RPP’s Ram Thapa leading in Damak



DAMAK: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Ram Thapa is leading in Damak Municipality of Jhapa.

Thapa has overtaken UML candidate Geeta Adhikari.

While Thapa has got 2,722 votes, UML candidate Adhikari has got 2,540 votes.

Likewise, deputy-mayoral candidate of Nepali Congress Regina Bhattarai has got 2,636 votes and UML’s Ambika Prasad Khanal has got 2,445 votes.

So far, 4,541 votes have been counted in Damak.
