KMC: Independent mayoral candidate Balen still ahead

KATHMANDU: Independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balen Shah is still leading the vote count.

According to the latest tally, Balen is leading with 2,457 votes while CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit is following him with 1,427 votes.

Sirjana Singh, the Nepali Congress candidate from the coalition, has got 1,168 votes.
