Independent mayoral candidate Balen leading with a big margin



KATHMANDU: Independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balen Shah is still leading the vote count.

According to the latest tally, Balen is leading with 2,071 votes while CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit is following him with 1,164 votes.

Sirjana Singh, the Nepali Congress candidate from the coalition, has got 1,006 votes.

As many as 5,983 votes have been counted so far.
