KMC update: Independent candidate Balen still leading



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, an independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolis, is still leading the vote count as of Sunday morning.

He has received 2,071 votes so far.

His nearest rival Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML has so far got 1,164 votes.

Likewise, Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Sirjana Singh has got 1,006 votes so far.

Vote counting is underway.
