Biplav-led NCP leaders meet Home Minister Khand 



KATHMANDU: Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma held a meeting with Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand on Friday.

During the meeting that took place at the Home Ministry, the two discussed about the party’s participation in the upcoming local elections slated for May 13, according to Minister’s press coordinator Madhu Sudan Bhattarai.

Bishwakarma demanded the government release party cadres and leaders put in prisons on various accusations and withdraw charges against them to see its (party’s) participation in the election.

In response, the Minister said the government was positive to withdraw the cases that are deemed legally possible to take back.
