Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Out of the confirmed cases today,  all14 were detected through the RT-PCR method.

A total of 3,903 swap samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 3030 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 873 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no one died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,951 to date.

Currently, there are 438 active cases in the country as 55 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
