Nepal sees 83 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 15 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 83 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday. There was no coronavirus-related death in the country in the last 72 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 57 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 26 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as there was no coronavirus-related death in the past 72 hours, the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,950 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed 15 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with 13 cases in Kathmandu and two in Lalitpur district.

Currently, there are 4,746 active cases in the country as 130 infected patients recovered.
