Maoist Center calls parliamentary party meeting for 10 am Wednesday to discuss MCC



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center has called a meeting of the parliamentary party at 10 am for Wednesday to discuss the United States grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Maoist Chief Whip Dev Gurung said the Maoist Center would form an opinion on MCC at the parliamentary party meeting and the same opinion would be forwarded at the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the parliament.

A meeting of the House BAC has been convened at 11:30 am at Shankar Hall of the parliament building in New Baneshwor on Wednesday.

The Nepali Congress parliamentary party meeting held Tuesday decided to make MCC an agenda of the House on Wednesday and urged ruling coalition partners to cooperate on the issue.

The Maoist Center parliamentary party meeting comes following the NC meeting Tuesday.
