TIA makes printed tickets mandatory for domestic air passengers

KATHMANDU: Passengers boarding domestic flights from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) are required to carry a printed ticket from Tuesday onwards.

The airport administration has enforced the new rules from Tuesday. Passengers showing the ticket on digital devices are not allowed to enter the airport.

Security personnel deployed at the airport also stopped passengers who did not carry ‘printed tickets’ today.

Earlier, passengers were also allowed to enter the airport by showing tickets and details on their mobile/digital devices.
